ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello! My name is Tanya and I'm a freelance artist based in Toronto, Canada, and Sandpaper Studio is my creative corner.

My approach to creating art involves an interplay between curiosity and expression, with themes of the natural world woven throughout. Art in its many forms has often been cherished as a means of connection, and the connection I hope to pass on through my artwork encompasses feelings of inspired reflection, respite, and play.  My main artistic joys are watercolour painting, calligraphy, and bottle painting - all of which bring me grounding and fulfillment.

I truly love what I do, am constantly looking for new inspiration, and put my heart into every collaboration.
